The Agricultural Training Centre (ATC) was established by TMSSS during the year 1983 in a 75 acres of land at Nazareth in Pudukottai district. The purpose of establishment of the centre was to organize and conduct orientation, trainings and exposure programmes to equip and empower the small and marginal farmers and women headed farming families with modern and upto date knowledge and skills in the fields of agriculture and animal husbandry which are their traditional occupations and thereby enhance their employment, income, subsistence and sustainable living without further set back or dependence on others.
