Participation In Prime Minister’s Swatch Bharath Mission

The Physiotherapy Centre of TMSSS is functioning at Sangliyandapuram, Trichy from 1989 by employing qualified Physiotherapist and Occupational therapist. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India, New Delhi approved this programme for grant in aid from 1st March 2000. PWDs and poor people are benefited through this programme.
The patients treated here are followed up regularly and frequent reviews are made on their improvement. Apart from our outpatient and inpatient services we also extend our treatment even at the door steps through field visits of the PWDs who are unable to come to the centre
During the year 2015 – 16 in total 7754 PWDs both outpatients and at outreach were given free treatment by this unit. It is anticipated that around 8000 patients will be benefited through our treatment centre during the year 2016-2017.
